Bantama MP Receives Honorary Citation from Grateful Constituents For His Visionary Leadership.

In a heartwarming display of appreciation, the Member of Parliament for Bantama and Minister for Works and Housing, Hon. Asenso Boakye, has been honored by his Assembly Members within the Bantama Sub-Metro of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly.

The gesture of gratitude came in the form of a citation presented to Hon. Asenso Boakye by the Assembly Members representing the 8 Electoral Areas in his Constituency.

These Electoral Areas, namely Kokoso, Bantama Proper, Ohwim-Amanfrom, Abrepo, Bohyen, Mpataseɛ, Adoato, and North Suntreso, united to recognize the significant impact Hon. Asenso Boakye has had on their community since taking office as their Member of Parliament.

Speaking on behalf of the Assembly Members, Hon. Amoako Asante, who also serves as the Bantama Sub-Metro Chairman and represents the Kokoso Electoral Area, expressed their collective satisfaction with the developmental projects initiated by Hon. Asenso Boakye.

“Under his leadership, the constituency have witnessed substantial progress in various developmental initiatives, which has greatly improved the quality of life in the constituency.

“These projects include infrastructure development, improved public services, and other community enhancements.

“With these, we are here to thank him and also encourage him to continue his good works and we promise to help him execute his mandate so that Bantama will reckon with other constituencies,” he said.

However, their gratitude was coupled with a request for Hon. Asenso Boakye to ensure the completion of ongoing projects before the 2024 general elections.

In response, Hon. Asenso Boakye expressed his appreciation for the honor and reaffirmed his commitment to continuing the transformative work in Bantama.

He assured the constituents that the government led by President Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo-Addo would remain steadfast in supporting the people of Bantama.

Hon. Asenso Boakye also urged the Assembly Members to collaborate with him to further advance the constituency’s development.

This recognition is not only a testament to the impactful leadership of Hon. Asenso Boakye but also highlights the importance of public officials working closely with their constituents to achieve meaningful progress in their communities.
