Atwima Yabi Youth Vow To Crash With “Soldiers”

Some of the residents in Atwima Yabi, in Atwima Kwanwoma District of Ashanti Region are threatening to crash with soo called soldiers who are now turn to land guide’s.

According to one chief, okyeamen Peter Asiedu, and he said some of the prominent chiefs in the region are plotting the downfall of Atwima Yabihene, Kontomere Kwame Frimpong Ababio because of his calm nature and proves to be a peace maker. He continues pointing fingers and mention names of some chiefs like, Asafo hene, Bantama hene, Atwima hene, Toase hene and Afasiebon hene and he said these kings are the master minds behind the current situation in Yabi.

He there for explains that there are parcel of land that His Royal Majesty, Otumfour Osei Tutu II has given to Yabihene Kontomere Kwame Frimpong Ababio to develop, with documents and have even done all the necessary things like the paper work and has even provides the eletrification system with layouts. But yet these chiefs are claiming the ownership of the land and using macho men and soldiers to intimidating and harassing us to preventing us from going to the land which Otumfour himself has given to Yabihene, and their strategy is that, the case is in manhyia so they will do everything within this period to finish their purpose before the verdict.

So he lamented that, they are not going to sit on concern for any one to takes the advantage of the situation to take what belongs to their king, he said they have taken all the necessary steps and have engaged all the stakeholders in the security fraternity in region but to no avail so they are pleading with the overlord of Asante Kingdom, Otumfour Osei Tutu II and all the stakeholders of this country to intervein in the situation.

Some of the youth also disclose their displeasure of the situation to the media that, they now live in the state of terrorists because soldiers and macho men are harassing them, want to take over our lands and have even mounted barriers at some part of the land, indeed our lives are now in danger, Because they are all over the place, we can’t even go to farm anymore because they have destroy some of our crops and our farm items, so we are pleading with the authorities, especially our king His Royal Majesty, Otumfour Osei Tutu II to step in to the matter, else we will crash with them.
