In a spirited demonstration of support and recognition for hard work, members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Afigya Kwabre South Constituency of the Ashanti region recently gathered at the party’s office to fervently endorse their constituency secretary, Madam Damata Ama Appianimaa Salam, for the upcoming parliamentary primaries.

The enthusiastic group, self-identifying as “Friends of Hon. Damata,” stormed the party’s office to officially pick nomination forms on behalf of Madam Damata Ama Appianimaa Salam.

Citing her diligent and industrious contributions, the group expressed their admiration for the secretary’s commitment to the party and the constituency.

Mr Owusu Robert, an Executive Member of the group, highlighted Madam Damata’s extensive experience within the party, having navigated through its ranks in the constituency.

He emphasized her intimate understanding of local issues, expressing confidence that she would effectively address and resolve challenges, paving the way for progress within the constituency.

Upon receiving the nomination forms, Madam Damata Ama Appianimaa Salam conveyed her heartfelt gratitude to the “Friends of Hon. Damata” for the vote of confidence.

Despite having resigned from her current position, Madam Damata acknowledged the group’s plea and graciously accepted their request to contest in the parliamentary primaries.
