The Ghana Electrical Contractors Association has taken notice of the report on the arrest of lng.Mark Wiafe for doing his lawful duty.
According to them, they consider the event as unfortunate and an utter disrespect for the public servants in the country.
“ECG challenges stem from several factors including non-payment of energy bills by public institutions.
As the nation grapples with reliability of power, the least one would expect from our leaders is to support and encourage the ECG to improve their collections losses. They stressed;
GECA therefore called on Ghanaians to condemn this kind of behaviour and has asked the President to call the Ashanti Regional Minister to order.
