All My Pending Projects Awaits The Release Of Common Funds To Proceed – MP For Jaman North Hints

The Member of Parliament for Jaman North constituency, Mr Ahenkwaa Yaw Frederick has revealed that all pending projects in the district that commenced in his tenure as Member of Parliament will continue immediately after the government releases the District Assembly Common fund indicating that it is the only source of funding for his projects in the district.

 

The member of Parliament during his 2020 elections campaign mentioned a lot of projects he will embark on when given the seat as an MP for the district which comprises health, education, security, agriculture, economics, youth and sports and the provision of social amenities among others for the constituents to promote the development of the district.

Mr. Ahenkwaa Yaw Frederick after winning the seat in the 2020 general elections commenced some of his campaign promises which include the construction of a Town park to support sporting events, the construction of Chips Compound and the Renovation of some abandoned projects within the district which were halted after the loss of Former MP on the NDC ticket, honourable Asum Ahensah Alexander in 2012 elections.

All these projects after their inception have been suspended as a result of a lack of funds which has created a lot of concerns within the district.

Reacting to this in an interview with Yankee Fm’s Morning Show dubbed Yankee in the Morning hosted by Odiakopa Afram Denkyirahene, Honorable Ahenkwaa Yaw Frederick indicated that all the pending projects in the district will see a facelift after the government releases the assembly common funds since that is the only source of funding for his projects.

Mr.  Ahenkwaa Yaw Frederick stressed that all monies for his developmental projects rely on the assembly common funds which have faced a lot of challenges revealing that the government has still not completed the payment of 2021 common funds with the 4th quarter still pending hence the delay in his projects.
