Achiase MP Gifts 70 Sewing Machines And Cash To Boost Lives Of His Constituents

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Achiase constituency who doubles as the member of Roads and Highways committee in parliament and a Board Chairman for Metro Mass Transit, Hon. Kofi Ahenkorah Marfo has donated 70 brand new sewing machines, 16 hair dryers, two new Metro Mass buses and has also presented a Ten Thousand cedis(GHC10,000.00) bank cheque as scholarship to 20 tertiary students.

Hon. Marfo who made the donation in Achiase stated that the donation was meant to aid the beneficiaries to expand their businesses.

He emphasized that it was important to support and assist the constituents especially the youth with tools and equipment to lead self-supporting lives.

“i have been able to help 70 youths gain employment into the security system by the support of my party and its government, the NPP when we resumed”, he shared with Ahenkan FM.

Hon. Marfo said that, his vision is to get work for most of the youth to do so that their lives will improve.

 

The Akyem Achiase legislator also cut sod for the construction of lockable shops for the traders at the Achiase business area.

 

The Akyem Achiase chief who chaired the program, Daasebre Gyanii Kantan II said that, the people in Akyem Achiase constituency should stop complaining about their DCE, Hon. Richmond Kofi Amponsah and the MP, Hon. Ahenkorah Marfo because, he is often gets in touch with them and knows their good plans for the constituency.
