Bechem United had to rely on a 92nd minute header from Hafiz Konkoni to maintain their unbeaten streak after five matches in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.

King Faisal managed to hold the Hunters lads to a pulsating 1-1 away draw in their match-week 11 game at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in Bechem.

The first half of the game looked balanced as both sides dominated the game in the middle with no goal glaring opportunity.

In the second half, King Faisal enjoyed majority of the game possession with some fearsome attacks launched on the back line of the host which earned them the opener after the hour-mark.

Substitute Abednego Tetteh came close to open the score for King Faisal but he failed to connect a low-cross delivered by Perry Addison on the 52nd minute.

Three minutes later, Goalkeeper Benjamin Asiedu made a brilliant save to deny Cephas Kofi Mantey from notching the lead for Bechem United.

King Faisal snatched the opener through Godfred Asiamah after brilliantly tapping in a pass from Samuel Adom Antwi on the 67th minute of the game.

After conceding, Bechem United warmed themselves into the game to stage an intense pressure on the visitors to pull parity in the dying embers of the game.

Striker Hafiz Konkoni rescued Bechem United from a painful home loss with a powerful header on the 92nd minute of the game.
