Hearts of Oak Communications Director, Kwame Opare Addo has denied claims that the Phobians have secured the services of former Asante Kotoko boss, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum as their new head coach.
He made this statement following numerous reports that Hearts of Oak had appointed the former West African Football Academy (WAFA) and Porcupine Warriors gaffer to take charge of the team ahead of their matchday 27 fixture against Bechem United.
In an interview with Gideon Okyere Anim “Gatusso” on Original 91.9FM’s Super Sports Show, the spokesperson firmly refused the earlier reports.
“I’m not here to discredit any news portal but Hearts of Oak has a coach and it is not Prosper Narteh Ogum. David Ocloo is in charge “.
” We all know the pedigree of Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum but he isn’t our head coach “.
The “never say die ” boys have been without a substantive coach since the sacking of Slavko Matic due to poor results.
Stopgap coach David Ocloo, has been in charge for the last two months and was expected to remain in the role until the end of the season.
