Philibert Selorm Fummey Thanks NDC Delegates; Pledges To Serve Them Better

The elected Parliamentary Candidates of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Nsawum Adoagyiri constituency, Mr Philibert Selorm Fummey has expressed appreciation to delegates of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Nsawum Adoagyiri Constituency for posing trust and confidence in him by electing him to lead the party ahead of 2024 general election as their Parliamentary Candidate.

He said “First and foremost, thank you [delegates] for the trust and confidence you have posed in me.

He has pledged to serve his constituents better and has, therefore, urged them to expect nothing less from him.

Mr. Philibert Selorm Fummey expressed his appreciation to the NDC delegates as he praise God in Church today.

“At this moment, I come to you in great humility, and with deep gratitude to Almighty God, who has bestowed this exception honour on my modest self”, he said.

He continued, I appreciate every single one of you that stood by me and continues to do the same. I remain indebted to the illustrious delegates for the confidence posed in me. It was a decision well made and I will surely not disappoint you”.

According to him, now that the Primaries are over, there is a need for the party delegates and supporters to work collectively to make the Nsawum Adoagyiri a haven for the NDC, adding, “We must eschew self-interest, petty squabble and unite for the interest of the party, with a peaceful and united front.

“Whether or not you voted for me in primaries, I want you to know that I am dedicated to serving you. When we work together, not as Democrats, Republicans, or Independents, but as members of one family under one umbrella, I know that we can accomplish great things as far as 2024 Polls is concerned, he noted.

He noted that by doing so, they will be able to consolidate and sustain the gains made and eventually took power from the ruling New Patriotic Party come the 2024 general elections.

In addition, Mr. Philibert said, it is my conviction that at this moment of the party in the Constituency, there is the need to intensify broader consultations and consensus building to ensure an efficient, effective and successful administration of the party in Nsawum Adoagyiri. He concluded that, ‘I am forthright and focus with a strategic vision to make sure we won the Nsawum Adoagyiri parliamentary seat and the presidential election as well.
