In connection with the just ended super-delegates conference, which was conducted to prune the ten (10) aspirants to five (5), Spartans for NPP extends warm congratulations to the four (4) aspirants who made it to the final list amidst the unascertained aspirant to complete the final list of five (5). As the runoff election is scheduled for 2nd September, we will have the last aspirant filling the void, after which the road will be cleared for the presidential primary on November 4.
The landslide victory attained with a tremendous margin presupposes that the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has garnered an incontestable endorsement by the delegates and affords him a positive outlook ahead of the presidential primary on November 4. This feat appropriates a special congratulations to him for enormously winning the trust of the delegates.
This is a win for the party and we are calling for the other aspirants who could not be part of the first five (5) to rally behind the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, whose remarkable victory effectuates his endorsement as the flag bearer of the NPP.
As a unified body constituting the NPP, the onus is on us to ensure that whoever is elected to represent the party ahead of the general elections next year is given the needed support. In the end, the quest to breaking the eight (8) requires our collective effort.
Let’s now look beyond the presidential primary and soldier on with the flag bearer ahead of the general elections next year, 2024.
“A win for some, a win for all”
