Atwima Kwawoma 6 BECE Students Honored At Maiden Amofa Foundation Best Performing Students Awards.

Six students who excelled in the 2022 Basic Education Certificate Examination ( BECE ) in the Atwima Kwawoma District, were on Thursday honoured at the maiden Amofa Foundation Best Performing Students Awards.

The awards scheme, instituted by Amofa foundation recognises BECE graduates who demonstrated the values that defined and shaped them in their results.

It is the highest honour given by Amofa foundation to graduates who had from ‘Six to Eleven’ in the 2022 BECE in the District.

They received Learning materials and envelope containing an undisclosed amount of money.

Speaking to AKOMA FM news in an interview,Mr.Stephen Amofa said the foundation birthed the award scheme three years ago to celebrate students and push the frontiers of education in the Atwima Kwawoma District.

He called for digitisation to be embrace to make education a topmost focus in improving learning outcomes.

Students who received the awards lauded the Amofa foundation on their passion for education and to ensure the best for the constituents.

“We are much greatful for this kind gesture and we promise to learn harder to achieve our goals..they assured.
