Residents Of Ahafo Kenyasi Has Barred Teeth With Newmont Over “Shoddy Road Works.”

Residents of Ahafo Kenyasi have chastised Newmount Mining Company over what they term as “shoddy road work.”

The residents says that Kofi Job Construction Limited should have left the road in its initial state since dust have emerged on the route since he abandoned work.

The contractor, Kofi Job Constructions, started work on the Kenyase road this year but have abandoned the contract awarded to him by Newmount Mining Company.

Residents say that, Newmount refusal to pay Kofi Job to complete the work has left a lot of dust on the road which is affecting their  social life as well as their economic livelihoods.

They have called upon Newmount Mining Company to as a matter of urgency call on the contractor to speed up work else face their wrath.
