The much anticipated National Student Platinum Awards happened at Accra Metropolitan Assembly on 26th November ,2022.This award is celebrated to honour particular students, co-operate Entities, personalities who have made impact towards education.
At the Awards, a lot of dignitaries were present to grace the occasion.
According to Prof Elsie Kaufman,Dean of School of Engineering,University of Ghana, adviced students to be time concious and encouraged them to blend academics to any other talent they possess.
The Member of Parliament for Tamale Central Constituency, Hon Murtala mohammed urged government to find a ways and means to support student who have advance in technology to accomplish their purpose.
As part of promoting education in Ghana, the executive board of Smivic communications donated Gh1300 to Mrs Linda Mensah, a final year student in Wisconsin university, who also won Student Personality of the Year in National Student Platinum Awards 2022.
They executive board then encouraged Mrs Linda Mensah to support her educational project with the funds.
Some dignitaries who were honoured during the awards include Hon Ekow Vincent, MP of Old Tafo, Hon Murtala Mohammed, MP of Tamale Central, Prof. Elsie Kaufmann, Dean of School of Engineering,University of Ghana, and Many more.
