Ghanaian man of God Dag Heward-Mills of Lighthouse Chapel laid bare the problematic views in the Bible during a sermon that’s gone viral.
The Bishop who was speaking about polygamy launched a stanch defence of the practice.
According to him, God does not frown upon a man marrying more than one wife anywhere in the Bible. He pointed to Old Testament patriarchs who generally had two or more wives.
He also noted that the Bible explicitly said women are not allowed to preach over a man or exercise any form of authority over him.
