The Municipal Chief Executive for the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipal Assembly, Hon. Wisdom Osei Boamah, has extended a generous hand of support to Muslim communities within the municipality with the donation of assorted food items to mark the holy month of Ramadan.

The timely gesture, according to the MCE, is aimed at supporting Muslim faithful as they observe the sacred period of fasting, prayer, and spiritual reflection, which commenced earlier this month.
Presenting the items to community leaders, Hon. Wisdom Osei Boamah emphasized the importance of unity, religious tolerance, and communal support, especially during significant spiritual seasons such as Ramadan.

He noted that the donation forms part of the Assembly’s broader commitment to inclusive governance and social welfare.
“This contribution is to support our Muslim brothers and sisters during this solemn period of fasting and prayer.

As they seek the face of Allah for guidance and blessings, we believe it is important to stand with them and demonstrate love and solidarity,” he stated.
He further encouraged the beneficiaries to use the period to pray for peace, development, and prosperity within the municipality and the nation at large.

Leaders of the Muslim communities expressed profound gratitude to the MCE for the thoughtful intervention, describing it as a demonstration of compassionate leadership and religious harmony.
The donation is expected to ease the burden on several households and reinforce the spirit of togetherness that characterizes the municipality.
