E/R: 3 Suspects Arrested For Throwing Stones At Oda Palace

The Police have arrested three individuals for allegedly throwing stones at the Akim Oda Palace in the Eastern Region while a meeting was ongoing.

The Divisional Police Commander of Oda Rev Dr Adane-Ameyaw confirmed the news to Metro TV.

Speaking to the media on Thursday, August 3, he issued a stern warning to notorious youth who are fond of damaging people’s properties with stones in the municipality.

According to him, those three men were caught in the act after they had injured two police officers and destroyed a resident’s car at the paramount chief’s premises today during a community meeting.

Rev Dr. Adane-Ameyaw noted that his men will not hesitate to arrest and prosecute persons who throw stones anytime chiefs gathered at the palace.
