A young, beautiful lady identified as Nafisatu Latif has taken her own l!fe by poisoning herself over a broken heart from her boyfriend at Nkawie Toase in the Ashanti Region.
According to information gathered by the EDHUB, Nafisatu had doubts about her relationship with her boyfriend, suspecting that he may be cheating on her. She decided to use one of her friends to test his loyalty in the relationship.
Unfortunately, the test went to the extent that the friend she used as bait did not provide any feedback and kept ignoring her calls. This sparked a heated argument for about a month between her and her boyfriend until the unexpected happened last Saturday, when she drank po!son to end it all.
However, she did not die immediately and was rushed to Nkawie Government Hospital on Saturday evening. She was later referred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, where she passed away last Monday at dawn.
Nasisatu Natif was buried by the Muslim community at Nkawie yesterday.
