Family Announces Date For Baba Spirit’s One-Week Memorial

The family of deceased Ghanaian comic Baba Spirit have announced the date for his one-week memorial service.

The date is Saturday, 24 September, 2022.

 

 

Also, the event will take place at the Arts Centre in Accra.

Born Francis Yaw Ofori, the ‘Broken News’ stars demise came to public notice on 8 September, 2022.

Baba Spirit’s death was first reported on Thursday, 8 September, 2022.

According to reports, he died at the Kotoku Hospital, Amasaman.

Following his demise, videos of interviews he had granted to Power FM and Bryt TV have gone viral and in said videos, the comic narrated instances of spiritual attacks and a health crisis that left his body paralysed for about a year.

One of the highlights of Baba Spirit’s career was his 2018 staged bout with professional boxer Ayitey Powers.
