Nana Ngoah Anyimah Kodom II Leads Tree Planting Project To Beautify Bibiani

The Chief of Bibiani, in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipal, Nana Ngoah Anyimah Kodom II has commenced tree planting project at vantage some points to create shades and also beautify the community.

As part of the job, the Chief led a team of technocrats and residents to the Bibiani government hospital and some other places yesterday where the exercise was kicked off.

Several species of trees including ornamental plants were planted.

Addressing the media, Nana Ngoah Anyimah Kodom II said the motive behind the exercise was to ensure there is adequate shades at the government hospital and also to give the community a beautiful look as happens in other cities. Adding, it buttress him peoples who are admitted to the facility with their families at times finds it difficult to adequate places of rest because of the quantity number of patients admitted, since the few resting places may be fully occupied especially in the afternoon.

He stated that, since trees are important to human lives, it purpose him to embark on the project without relying on the government to ensure proper health care of the people (patients), however calling on all other stakeholders for support.

 

“It’s very important to note that, trees are very important to human lives. This hospital serves about six regions, so I consider how families have to travel long distances to the facility and later scorch under the sun because the resting places maybe full and this can later lead to another problem, so I took it upon myself to embark on this project. I will call for stakeholders collaboration to make it a successful one”, he noted.

The traditional authority urged the staff of the facility and the residents to observe maintenance culture in order to ensure the trees planted grow well to serve their purposes.
