After years of infrastructural neglect and academic hardship, Abofour African Faith Junior High School in the Offinso South Municipality of the Ashanti Region is finally receiving critical intervention following swift action by the Municipal Chief Executive, Frank Owusu Amoah.

For years, students of the school have endured deplorable learning conditions, sitting in dusty classrooms without proper flooring, while teachers conduct lessons under a fragile palm-frond structure due to the absence of a permanent school block.
The unfortunate situation has significantly hampered effective teaching and learning, leaving both staff and students frustrated over the prolonged delay in completing an abandoned three-unit classroom project.

The classroom block, which was initiated by the previous administration, was left at the lintel level and subsequently abandoned, deepening the infrastructural deficit of the school.
However, in a decisive move to salvage the situation, the MCE, through the Offinso South Municipal Assembly, has donated several bags of cement to help provide temporary flooring for the dusty classrooms to improve conditions for academic work.

Speaking during his visit, Mr. Frank Owusu Amoah assured the school authorities and the community that the abandoned three-unit classroom block will be fully completed before the end of the year.
He stressed that education remains a topmost priority of the government and reaffirmed the commitment to complete all stalled and abandoned projects within the municipality to enhance quality education delivery.

The intervention has sparked renewed hope among residents and school authorities, who believe the long-standing challenges confronting the school will soon be addressed.
