Deputy Chief Executive of the Minerals Commission, Dr Serwaa Donkor, has partnered with the Tafo Pankrono Education Directorate to organise extra tuition for students sitting the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
The free tuition for pupils in both public and private schools will focus on training students to understand the rudiments of the examination.
Areas of difficulty in various study areas will be given special attention by the teachers.
As part of efforts to facilitate the students, examination materials, including 2000 boxes of mathematical sets, 2000 boxes of
pens have bee. distributed to the over two thousand students in the constituency.
NPP Communication Director of Old Tafo Constituency ,Chief Anokye who presented the Items to the Education Directorate in the area on behalf of Dr Serwaa Donkor, also had this to say .
On her side Madam Betty Drah, Tafo Municipal Education Directorate commended Dr Serwaah Donkor for her support given to the candidates and pleaded with her to assist them with infrastructures to improve education in the area.
She further advised the students to take their studies serious as they are preparing for the examination.
