Small Political Parties Should Unite To Taste Power – Political Scientist

Political Scientist, Samuel Boateng has disclosed that, the people around the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo should be bold enough to tell him the current state of the economy.

 

According to him, the Ministers and other people with big positions at the Presidency are afraid they would be reshuffled or sacked if they tell President the truth.

He added that, Ghana will develop when leadership in parliament is strong but not when the Minority protest against a Bill and latter accept it.

 

He added that, the small political parties in the country should not be called a Party but a ‘Political Movement’ because Ghanaians only hear of them during election year and most of them do not have offices.

He therefore advised the small parties to come together to form a coalition Party in other get more serious.

 

He again said that, Ghanaians will only believe in the small parties and vote for them if they come together, bring good policies on board with the mindset of sending NDC and NPP to Opposition.
