Over the weekend, Hon. Augustine Collins Ntim, Member of Parliament for Offinso North, fulfilled a promise he made in 2020 to extend rural electrification to more communities in his constituency.
Speaking to the media during the extension of the national grid to Akomadan-Cannan, Hon. Ntim expressed his optimism that every community in Offinso North will have access to electricity by 2025.
Project contractor, Engineer Tacha, elaborated on the nature of the project, outlining the communities already connected to the national grid through Hon. Ntim’s efforts.
He also advised the people of Akomadan-Cannan to make good use of the electricity by obeying all rules and regulations governing its use.
Residents of Akomadan-Cannan expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Ntim for fulfilling his promise to them. The extension of the national grid to their community is a testament to Hon. Ntim’s commitment to rural electrification and his dedication to improving the lives of his constituents.
