Pastor Philip Sarpong, Chief Executive Officer of Perfect Series Stationery, has expressed immense satisfaction with the outstanding performance of public and private schools in the inaugural edition of the Basic Schools Assessment Competition.
The event, at the Ghana National Association of Teachers Auditorium, brought together public and private schools in a fierce display of academic excellence.
In an interview, Pastor Sarpong praised the teachers, noting their dedication and hard work in preparing the students for the competition.
“The performance of these schools is a clear testament to the tireless efforts of their instructors. It is evident that a great deal of preparation went into this,” he said.
The competition, which aimed to assess the academic prowess of basic schools, saw remarkable performances despite initial concerns over the results compilation process.
According to Pastor Sarpong, these concerns were swiftly addressed. He disclosed that representatives from all participating schools came together to unanimously approve the final results, further cementing the integrity of the competition.
“Representatives signed a statement of approval, affirming that Unique Educational Complex truly deserved to be crowned the champion,” Mr Sarpong stated.
The excitement does not end here, as ten schools have successfully secured their places for the next round of the competition, scheduled for Thursday, 26th September 2024.
Pastor Sarpong expressed optimism for even higher levels of achievement in the next stage, as the schools continue to demonstrate remarkable potential.
This inaugural competition has set a solid foundation for future editions, with a focus on inspiring academic excellence in basic schools across the nation.
