Otumfour challenges female students to make STEM education their priority.

His Royal Majesty Otumfour Osei Tutu has challenged female students of Senior High Schools in the country to make STEM education their priority.

According Otumfour many believe that STEM education is complex for the female students but if they don’t despise themselves and strive hard they can do it equally important as the male students.

Asantehene reiterated that what men can do women can do better hence the females should take the advantage of the free SHS and encourage themselves to study hard to benefit from the STEM education.

The overlord of Asanteman Otumfour Osei Tutu II made this advice during 85th Anniversary of Osei Kyeretwie Senior High School at the School campus.

Otumfour pledged to help support infrastructure challenges in the school. He further warned chiefs and private developers who are encroaching the school lands.

The Deputy Minister of Education Hon Rev Ntim Fordwour for his side at the anniversary recounted significant intervention the NPP government has put in place to enhance quality education in the country.

He said the free Senior High School has been fruitful which he commended the president for his vision and all other stakeholders for their support of making the programme success.

Rev Ntim Foudwour said, the education ministry is committed to transforming the curriculum from bookish to skills oriented to help Ghanaian students for job opportunities.

Finally, the Headmaster of the school,Mr Michael Mensah also louds those who makes Osei Kyeretwie Senior High School priority .
