Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as COKA, a leading stalwart of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and a well-known philanthropist, has once again demonstrated his commitment to humanitarian causes by donating a brand new wheelchair and other essential items to a physically challenged girl at Kyekyewere in the Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region.

The benevolent gesture marks the fourth consecutive time within the past two weeks that Chairman COKA has extended support to physically challenged individuals and vulnerable groups, reinforcing his reputation as a compassionate leader with a deep concern for the welfare of the needy in society.

The donation included a brand new wheelchair to aid the mobility of the young girl, as well as several school supplies to support her education.
Among the educational items presented were a school bag, a bowl, a water bottle and other essential learning materials to help the girl return to school with confidence.

In addition to the educational support, Chairman COKA also presented food items to the family, including a box of cooking oil, sardines and a bag of rice. He further topped up the donation with an undisclosed amount of money to assist the family in meeting their daily needs.
Chairman COKA explained that his visit was prompted by a video of the girl that surfaced on social media, which touched his heart and compelled him to take action.
Presenting the items on Tuesday, December 6, 2026, he urged the general public to cultivate the habit of showing love and compassion towards the less privileged, especially persons living with disabilities.

“I am happy that this family has taken good care of the girl; this is exactly what we have to do to show love towards physically challenged individuals,” he said. “I will urge you to continue caring for her because she might be the source of blessing for this family.”
He further pledged to visit the family again in the near future to offer additional support towards the upkeep and well-being of the child.
The family, overwhelmed with joy, expressed profound gratitude to Chairman COKA for the unexpected gesture, noting that the support had come at a very crucial time, particularly with schools reopening.
They offered prayers for God’s blessings upon his life, wishing him long life, good health and continued success in all his endeavours.
