NPP Ashanti Regional Chairmanship Race: Sekyere Central DCE Endorses Chairman Wontumi

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Sekyere Central, Hon Benjamin Kingsley Kodua, has said that Ashanti Region cannot break the eight without Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known chairman Wontumi.

 

 

He said this on Movement in the Morning Political Show when the host Kwaku Dawuro asked him on the issue of some Ashanti Regional New Patriotic Party (NPP) executives picking up a filing form for the incumbent Regional Chairman “Chairman Wontumi” to continue the mantle of leadership in the Region.

He said, ‘’If we are electing leaders and we don’t choose people who can help us get more vote in the Ashanti Region, then the contest will be tough. We will be at a great loss in 2024 if we take chairman wontumi out of the contest’’.

“Our actions are geared towards retaining the party in power. Chairman Wontumi is very passionate about NPP to the extent that he has established a media house to propagate the good works of the government beyond the free the free SHS policy’’, he stated.

 

 

He indicated that Chairman Wontumi has made the NPP party very pleasant in the Ashanti Region and other Regions wish they have him as their chairman for even a day.
