The Member of Parliament for Nsuta Kwaman Beposo, Hon. Adelaide Yaa Agyeiwaa Ntim, has called on Ghanaians to critically assess the performance of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government and vote them out if they fail to deliver on their promises.
Speaking in an interview with OTEC News Reporter Kwame Agyenim Boateng, Hon. Ntim accused the NDC of “lying their way into power,” stressing that the electorate must not allow political parties to get away with empty promises. She noted that the current administration is already showing signs of incompetence, which she said is making life unbearable for many Ghanaians, particularly the poor and vulnerable.
“The NDC made a lot of promises to win the hearts of the people, but now that they are in power, their actions do not match their words. If they fail to deliver, Ghanaians must rise and vote them out,” she stated.
The former Deputy Health Minister emphasised the importance of accountability in governance and urged citizens to remain vigilant and demand results. According to her, politicians who ascend to power based on deceit must not be tolerated in a democratic dispensation.
She also appealed to traders across the country to continue supporting the New Patriotic Party (NPP), highlighting that the NPP has always prioritised the interests of the business community. “Our market women and traders have benefitted greatly under the NPP government, and I urge them to remember that during the next elections,” she added.
Hon. Ntim assured her constituents of her commitment to championing their welfare and development. She further reiterated the NPP’s resolve to restore economic stability and improve the living conditions of all Ghanaians.
Her comments have sparked discussion among political observers as the nation edges closer to the next general elections.
