The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced its verdict on the protest filed by Aduana Stars FC against Asante Kotoko SC in January.

Aduana Stars filed a complaint to the country’s football governing body against Asante Kotoko for fielding an unqualified player in the match-week ten of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park in Dormaa.

In Aduana Stars’ petition to the GFA, Nicholas Mensah who started the game was accused of not being ineligible to feature for the Porcupine Warriors.
