Two students of Osino Presbyterian Senior High Technical School in Fanteakwa South District of Eastern region have died in fatal crash.
Over 10 other students were seriously inured.
The crash occured on Friday at Teacher Mante, a community along the Accra to Kumasi Highway while they were returning to their homes in Accra for a mid-term break.
The students were aboard a Nissan minibus with the registration number GG-2071-21.
According to eyewitnesses, the vehicle which was speeding burst a tyre and the driver attempted to apply the brakes causing the vehicle to somersault.
The two students – Ruth Ayeh and Anordjan Florence lost their lives instantly.
The bodies of the deceased students have been deposited at the Nsawam government hospital mortuary, while the other injured students are receiving treatment at the same hospital.
