A visual impaired man believed to be in his 70s identified only as Mr. Amudor has allegedly killed his wife in Abepotia, a suburb of Nkawkaw in the Kwahu West Municipality in the Eastern region.
The deceased wife, Grace Alifo, was found dead in a pool of blood with multiple stab wounds on the neck and breast.
The incident occured on Tuesday, March 14, 2023.
Multiple sources say the now deceased wife threatened to divorce the suspect husband therefore believe that might be the underlying reason for his gruesome action.
However, Mother In-law of the deceased, Mrs. Asiedua explained to Agoo FM that the suspect told her he had disagreement with the the now deceased wife over her refusal to close the door at the night.
Assembly member of Abepotia Electoral Area, Owusu Boateng corroborated the suspicion that the man might have committed the despicable act over marital issues with the wife .
Meanwhile, the suspect, Mr. Amudor has been arrested by police to assist investigations while the body of the deceased has been deposited at the holy Family Hospital morgue, Nkawkaw.
