My attention has been drawn to a news item purporting a baseless declaration (subject referred) made by me in an interview of which I have no idea of. In the said news item, the face value implies that I have castigated the Vice President, His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia over mismanaging the NABCO scheme, the reason for which I would never throw my support for him to lead the NPP as a presidential candidate.
_I wish to state emphatically that I have never granted any interview to that effect than to think of making such mischievous statement._ Clearly, this is just a mere infantile propaganda intended to ruin the image of the Vice President ahead of the flagbearership context.
In retrospect, despite a few challenges the NABCO Scheme was faced with, we cannot state anywhere that it served a zero impact. If for nothing at all, over 40% of trainees got permanent jobs through the initiative. Moreover, those who were left on the CPTP data have been scaled up in experience and requisite employable skill set.
_If we should put the analogy in its objective form, I would rather throw my weight behind the Vice President for actualizing the NABCO dream._ In the midst of the outstanding issues, we still believe in his leadership to effect appropriate intervention in the course of time.
_I would advise the general public to disregard such news headline and stay alert as we advance ahead of the general elections._
