Developmental Projects Should Not Be Drawn Away By Partisan Politics – Political Activist urges

Mr. Samuel Boateng, a political activist has expressed that citizens and the communities within the country should not count on their political differences to drive away developmental projects that may be brought up to them.

 

Speaking in an interview with Odiakopa Afram Denkyirahene on Yankee Fm’s breakfast show dubbed Yankee in the Morning, Mr. Samuel Boateng indicated that development of a country or a community does not have disparities in partisan politics hence people with different political background should put aside their political parties and welcome any form of developmental agenda that will benefit them even if it is been provided by a rivalry party.

He stressed that, every community have leaders who are well known their needs and wants hence leaders must ensure community engagement with their members on a projects yet to be provided to prevent future discrepancies between members of the community and their leaders stating that partisan politics in who provides a project and when the projects was provided my be stop to facilitate development in the country.

Mr. Samuel Boateng again pleaded with Members of Parliament, MMDCEs to work hard in ensuring that their constituents are provided with series of developmental plans. He stress that members of Parliament are not developmental projects makers but agents of development who lobby to ensure their constituencies are well advanced hence they must act as such.
