Achimota Forest Is Already Sold By The Government – Former Free Zones Authority Reveals

The Former Chief Executive Officer for Ghana Free Zones Authority, Mr. Kojo Twum Boafo has disclosed that the Nana Akuffo Addo government is just playing with the mind of Ghanaians because they have already sold out Achimota Forest.

According to him, the government sold 118 acres of the land out of the 361 acres and then went ahead to declassify it so that they can steal the remaining portions through legal means.

He added that Ghanaians should question the Nana Akuffo Addo government on that action taken on the land in other to hold them accountable.

He stressed that the move by the government is a criminal act of the highest order because he allowed the Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor to sell out the forest.

He added that the government wants to give access to the family of the late former CEO of the Forestry Commission, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie “Sir John” who stole some of the forests because it was reflected in his will before he died.
