The Member of Parliament for Nsuta Kwamang Beposo Constituency, Hon. Adelaide Ntim, has reiterated her unwavering commitment to the development of her constituency, stressing the need for unity and collaboration across political divides.
Speaking at the Beposo Easter Homecoming ceremony and fundraising event held at Sekyere Beposo, Hon. Ntim emphasised that national development requires collective efforts, regardless of political affiliation.
She pledged to work with any District Chief Executive (DCE) appointed by His Excellency John Dramani Mahama under the current NDC administration to bring meaningful development to the Sekyere Central District.
“Nation building requires collective efforts, so I’m ever ready to work with anyone who will be appointed as DCE by His Excellency John Dramani Mahama. We must provide developmental projects for the area collectively,” she stated.
She added that it was time for both the NPP and NDC to put aside political differences and prioritise the welfare of the people. “Political differences have to be sidelined in this current dispensation. What matters most is the wellbeing of our constituents and how we can lobby for projects from all angles to help our constituency,” she added.
At the fundraising event, Hon. Adelaide Ntim donated GH¢5,000 and pledged 100 bags of cement to support the construction of a Community and ICT Centre. She made a similar contribution of GH¢10,000 at a separate Easter fundraising programme at Sekyere Kwaman.
According to her, peace and unity are essential for the progress of Ghana and her constituency. “Without unity, Ghana – especially Nsuta Kwamang Beposo – will not progress.
Though I am an NPP MP, it doesn’t mean I have to hold grudges with members of the NDC. My office is open to everyone so we can collaborate and develop the constituency together.”
She assured the public that ongoing projects initiated under the NPP government, including road construction, school infrastructure, and health facilities, would not be abandoned. “With intensive dialogue with the current NDC administration, these projects will continue until completion,” she affirmed.
Reflecting on the NPP’s 2024 election loss, the former Deputy Minister of Health said, “The 2024 election loss has taught the NPP many lessons, and I’m optimistic that after a thorough review, we will correct our mistakes and bounce back strongly in the 2028 election.”
