The Member of Parliament for Nsuta Kwamang Beposo Constituency, Hon. Adelaide Ntim, has once again put smiles on the faces of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in her constituency by supporting them financially during the Christmas festivities.

In a gesture aimed at easing the burden on vulnerable groups during the festive season, the MP presented a total amount of GH¢50,000 to Persons with Disabilities as Christmas support.

The donation forms part of her continuous effort to promote inclusion, community care, and social responsibility within the constituency.

Speaking during the presentation, Hon. Adelaide Ntim explained that PWDs are often overlooked during festive seasons, especially because many of them are unemployed and struggle to make ends meet.

According to her, the gesture was to ensure that they also experience the joy of Christmas.

“This support is meant to bring some relief, promote inclusion, and support the livelihoods of Persons with Disabilities during the Christmas festivities,” she stated.

The lawmaker further acknowledged that although the amount may not solve all the challenges faced by PWDs, it could make a meaningful difference in their lives.

“Persons with Disabilities are responsible citizens and voters in this constituency. It is important to attend to their needs. While this may not solve all their problems, it will at least help them enjoy the festive season with their families,” Hon. Ntim added.

The MP emphasised that her commitment to the welfare of her constituents goes beyond political gains, noting that she has consistently supported vulnerable groups over the years.

“This is not about clout. I have been doing this long before now—supporting small businesses with start-up capital, offering scholarships to brilliant but needy students, and investing in education and health,” she said.

Some beneficiaries expressed heartfelt appreciation for the MP’s continuous support. One of them remarked, “What the MP has done for us is unprecedented. She has always remembered us, especially during difficult times, and we are very grateful.”

Another beneficiary added,”This support means a lot to us. It shows that we are valued and included in the development of the constituency.”

The gesture has been widely commended by beneficiaries, who described it as timely and impactful, reinforcing Hon. Adelaide Ntim’s reputation as a compassionate and development-oriented leader.
