NPP Used Political Policies For Power – Akwatia MP

The Member of Parliament for Akwatia constituency, Hon. Henry Boakye-Yiadom popularly known as Okoyo has said that a lot of the ruling New Patriotic Party’s Policies were Political Policies but not national policies which can help to solve Ghana’s challenges.

 

Hon. Okoyo, indicated that the NPP ‘oversold’ itself to Ghanaians with sweet policies because they wanted to be in power.

 

He added that Ghanaians were having much hope in NPP government especially in their second term in office but the government has disappointed them.

 

The Akwatia Legislator also expressed his concerned on the high rate of unemployment in the country which the NPP government promised to reduce it during their campaigns.

 

 

He made this statement on 7th June 2022 in an interview with Obouba Ofori Amanfo on Maakye.
