A 26-year-old lady identified as Abigail Nana Ama Fosuawaa has allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in her apartment over a broken heart from her boyfriend at Gentlemen Road, a suburb of Samreboi in the Amenfi West municipality of the western region of Ghana.
The incident happened on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.
Information gathered indicates that Abigail Nana Ama had doubts about her relationship with her boyfriend, suspecting that he may be cheating on her.
In an interview with the landlord of the house, Mr. Dominic Danquah, he was in his room when he heard a call from a guy who’s allegedly the boyfriend of the deceased.
He came outside only to hear from Hackman (the alleged boyfriend) that Abigail, the deceased, had hanged herself to death in her room. He went to the room to confirm the incident.
The deceased has been sent to Samartex Hospital (mortuary) for further investigation, and the alleged boyfriend has been invited by Samreboi Police for further investigation.
