The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP), Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, widely known as COKA, has paid a touching Christmas visit to veteran Ghanaian actor Kwaku Twumasi, presenting him with gifts and an undisclosed amount of money to support his upkeep and medical needs.

The visit took place on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, as part of Chairman COKA’s Christmas rounds to visit friends, loved ones, and individuals who have played significant roles in his life.

Speaking during the visit, COKA described Mr Kwaku Twumasi as a long-time friend who stood by him and supported him during his youthful years, a gesture he said he could never forget.

Kwaku Twumasi, a respected figure in Ghana’s movie industry, has been battling health challenges for over four years after suffering a mild stroke.

The condition has left him largely bedridden and struggling with mobility, making daily activities difficult. Chairman COKA said the visit was meant to encourage the veteran actor and remind him that he is not forgotten, especially during the festive season.

In a brief prayer session, COKA committed the life of the actor into the hands of God, praying for healing, strength, and renewed hope. He further pledged to continue visiting and supporting Mr Twumasi whenever the need arises.

Overwhelmed by the gesture, Kwaku Twumasi expressed deep gratitude to Chairman COKA for the visit and support. With visible emotion, he thanked him for remembering his past good works and showing love at a time when it was most needed. “I am very grateful for your visit,” the actor said, while also commending COKA for his kindness and generosity.

The visit has been widely praised as a demonstration of compassion, gratitude, and the importance of remembering those who once contributed significantly to society.
