The Member of Parliament (MP) for Nsuta Kwaman Beposo Constituency, Hon. Adelaide Ntim, has presented hospital equipment, including beds and wheelchairs, to the J.K. Fosu Memorial CHPS Compound at Mangoase, the hometown of legendary Ghanaian highlife musician, Daddy Lumba.

Other facilities such as the Amoamang Ankamadoa and Atonsu near Nsuta Clinics also benefited from the gesture as part of the MP’s continuous effort to improve healthcare delivery in the constituency.

Speaking during the presentation at Mangoase, Hon. Ntim explained that the donation was aimed at augmenting the facilities at the beneficiary health centres.

“The gesture is to support and strengthen these health facilities to provide quality healthcare to the people. Health is one of my top priorities, especially because many communities in my constituency are rural. I want to ensure that they don’t have to travel miles before accessing quality healthcare,” she said.

The presentation coincides with the One Week Observation of Daddy Lumba, which is scheduled for Saturday 30th August, 2025.

Hon. Adelaide revealed that she deliberately timed the gesture to complement the highlife legend’s role in projecting the name of Nsuta internationally. “This is a way of complementing Daddy Lumba’s efforts in putting Nsuta on the global map,” she added.

At Amoamang Ankamadoa, where another round of equipment was presented, the MP reiterated her commitment to improving healthcare delivery.

“Healthcare delivery in the constituency is a major concern I am determined to tackle seriously, because life without good health means our people may not have the zeal to work towards the betterment of the country,” she noted.

She also urged the health centres to take good care of the equipment. “I admonish you to keep these facilities in shape and ensure a maintenance culture to avoid early deterioration,” she advised.

Health workers at the beneficiary facilities expressed profound gratitude to the MP, describing the donation as timely and impactful. “This support will go a long way to help us serve our patients better,” one staff member said.

This is not the first time Hon. Ntim has extended such support. She has previously donated ambulances, administrative vehicles, hospital beds, and other essential items to health facilities across the constituency, cementing her reputation as an advocate for quality healthcare.
