A/R: Nsuta Kwamang Beposo MP Donates 1,300 Mathematical Sets to BECE Candidates.

The Member of Parliament for Nsuta Kwamang Beposo Constituency, Hon. Adelaide Ntim Yaa Agyeiwaa, has presented 1,300 mathematical sets to final-year junior high school students in her constituency who are set to begin the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

The donation, was aimed at supporting candidates whose families, mostly farmers, may struggle to provide basic learning materials for their wards.

Although the MP could not be physically present due to other equally important national duties, she delegated Hon. Adu Bona Justice to make the presentation on her behalf.

“Hon. Yaa Agyeiwaa has always prioritised education. Even before becoming an MP, she was building school blocks, giving out scholarships and supporting students in every way possible,” Hon. Adu Bona stated.

He added: “This donation is just a sign that she continues to place high value on education. She will do everything within her power to support students and promote quality education in the constituency.”

The items were received by the Sekyere Central District Director of Education, Mr. Kwame Addo, who expressed appreciation to the MP for her kind gesture.

“We are very grateful to Hon. Yaa Agyeiwaa for always remembering our students. These mathematical sets will go a long way to boost the confidence of the candidates as they sit for their exams,” he said.

Mr. Addo also used the opportunity to caution all candidates and examination officers to strictly avoid examination malpractice.

“I urge all supervisors, invigilators and students to maintain the integrity of the exams. Any form of malpractice will not be tolerated,” he warned.

Some of the candidates, speaking on behalf of their colleagues, thanked the MP and promised to make her proud.

“We are ready for the exams, and with this support, we’ll come out with flying colours,” one of the students remarked confidently.

The MP’s gesture has been widely praised in the community, as it continues a trend of educational support and development he has pursued since taking office.
