Nsuta Kwaman Beposo MP Donates GH₵5,000 for Cleft Surgery of Child at Echoing Village.

The Member of Parliament for Nsuta Kwaman Beposo Constituency, Hon. Adelaide Yaa Agyeiwaa Ntim, has once again demonstrated her commitment to supporting the vulnerable by donating GH₵5,000 to fund surgery for a young boy with a cleft nose at Echoing Hills Village located at Madina in the Greater Accra Region.

This act of kindness occurred during a recent visit by the Gender Committee of Parliament, of which Hon. Ntim is the Ranking Member.

The visit was part of the committee’s oversight responsibilities. Upon seeing the boy’s condition and hearing his story, the MP was deeply moved and took immediate action to support his treatment.

Speaking after the donation, Hon. Adelaide Ntim said, “I was touched by the situation of the boy and I couldn’t stand it than to donate something for the surgery.”

She added that although the child is not from her constituency, she believes in helping those in need regardless of where they come from.

“No one knows what the future holds. The boy can become a great leader tomorrow, and the entire country can benefit from his knowledge and contributions. So it is important to reach out to support him now,” she remarked.

Hon. Ntim also made a passionate appeal to individuals and organisations who have the means to come to the aid of the boy. “I plead with everyone who can help in any way to do so. They really need support for this surgery,” she urged.

Known for her philanthropic spirit, Hon. Ntim recently donated GH₵60,000 to victims of a fire outbreak at Adum Blue-Light, GH₵50,000 to Kantamanto fire victims, and was also part of a GH₵150,000 collective donation made by NPP MPs to support the Adum Blue-Light victims.

Her compassion and dedication extend beyond her constituency. In Nsuta Kwaman Beposo, she continues to provide scholarships to brilliant but needy students, offer capital to small businesses, support healthcare initiatives, and contribute to infrastructure development.

These efforts have earned her the reputation of a pillar in community development.

Hon. Adelaide Ntim’s latest gesture further cements her status as a selfless leader committed to improving the lives of others, regardless of location or background.
