The Former President of the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGs), Yiadom Boakye Emmanuel, popularly known as YB, has expressed interest in contesting for the Youth Organiser position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region.
As a seasoned party member, he is confident in his ability to lead the party’s youth in the region.
Mr. Yiadom’s experience working under seasoned party officials has equipped him with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the Youth Organizer role. He has consistently demonstrated his commitment to the party’s ideals and has built a reputation as a dedicated and loyal member.
In an exclusive interview with MyGhanaMedia.com, he confirmed his intention to file for nominations.
He cited his good human relations skills, humility, and activeness in youth activities as key qualities that make him an ideal candidate for the position. He believes that these qualities will enable him to effectively mobilize and engage the youth in the Ashanti Region.
He also emphasized the importance of encouraging floating voters, especially the youth among them to win the 2028 general elections. He expressed his commitment to contributing to the party’s positive image and fortunes, and believes that his leadership will help to galvanize support for the NPP in the Ashanti Region.
Mr. Yiadom’s decision to contest for the Youth Organizer position is driven by his desire to serve the party and its ideals.
He stated, “There have been calls thus far. It’s a call to serve, and I won’t turn down the party’s request at any moment. When nominations are ready, I will surely I will contest,” he said.”
“I have worked assiduously over the years as a committed and dedicated Member of the New Patriotic Party by persistently and consistently contributing my quota to the positive preservation of the political fortunes or image of the New Patriotic Party,” he said in an interview. With his experience, skills, and commitment, Mr. Yiadom is confident that he can make a meaningful contribution to the NPP in the Ashanti Region.
His campaign is expected to focus on his vision for the party’s youth and his plans to mobilize and engage young people in the Ashanti Region.
