Asante Kotoko Administrative Manager, Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi, has officially left the club.
Dasoberi, who joined the revered Ghanaian club in September 2020, has been a pivotal figure in its administrative and operational affairs.
Originally signing a three-year contract, Dasoberi’s tenure technically concluded last year.
However, his expertise and leadership were so valued that he was subsequently appointed as a member of the Interim Management Committee (IMC), overseeing administrative matters during a transitional period for the club.
Dasoberi is on a new professional journey with the Confederation of African Football (CAF), where he will join the organisation as permanent staff.
He previously served as Club Licensing Manager of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) until his resignation in September, 2020.
In 2017, he was appointed Club Licensing Instructor and Stadium Inspector by CAF and served that role to date.
The FIFA Professional Football Department selected him as one of the two Club Licensing Managers in the world to benefit from its first FIFA Exchange Program in Qatar.
This move is anticipated to leverage his extensive experience and skill set, contributing to the broader landscape of African football governance and operations.
