Watch How Fire, ECG Personnel Rescue Ashaiman Suicide Attempted Man

A team comprising police, Fire Service personnel and ECG workers has rescued a suicide attempted man from committing the act at Ashaiman Lebanon.

The incident which happened at the Ashaiman Irrigation Development Authority area at Lebanon Zone Two has attracted diverse comments from neighbours and remains talk of the day.

The victim, Alfred Agamah, mostly known as Yehowa Nyagbe, believed to be in his late fifties and a resident of Lebanon Zone Two was found on top of an ECG high tention pole in the IDA, area in the early hours of Monday by neighbours who were passing to the Adjei-Kojo. They then called the police, fire officers and ECG workers who swiftly called at the incident scene and managed to bring him down.

 

Upon a brief interrogation, Alfred Agamah, said he was diagnosed of kidney disorders and began treatment processes. According to him, he has been to several hospitals and had now been referred to the Legon University of Ghana Medical Centre, UGMC, to undergo the actual treatment.

 

Despondent Alfred Agamah, continued that he was due for the UGMC, today but has not got a Pesewa on him, hence his decision to commit suicide and end it all.

 

Station Officer Two, Ebenezer Commey, who led the fire service team from the Ashaiman Toll Booth Fire Station, has been telling *MEDIA* about the state of the victim after rescue.
