The 2022/23 MTN FA Cup saw some surprises following holders Hearts of Oak’s eviction from the competition whiles their rivals Asante Kotoko got to the round 16 stage this time.

King Faisal marmalized GoldStars by an emphatic 1-4 in Bibiani whiles Karela United after sending out Medeama in round 64, also got evicted by second-tier side Skyy FC.
