Gov’t Should Be Blamed For The Inconveniences In The School Feeding Program – Jaman North MP

The member of Parliament for Jaman North constituency, Honorable Ahenkwaa Yaw Frederick has called for blame against the Akuffo Addo’s government over poor management of the country’s economy which has affected the School feeding program thereby impacting negatively on the basic education in the country.

 

He stated that the learners who benefits from the school feeding program are not given nutritious meals as a result of the government’s poor treatment of the school feeding caterers indicating that all the inconveniences in the school feeding program should be blamed on the Government because the caterers are not provided with the needed funds to be able to provide nutritious meals to facilitate quality health of the learners.

He later indicated that government must be held accountable on the rampant borrowing and how the monies are been spent to the benefit of Ghanaians.

 

Honorable Ahenkwaa Yaw Frederick insisted that the free Senior High School as part of the government’s flagship policy is no more effective leaving a lot of parents to spend huge sum of money before their wards can have access to Secondary education indicating that all the government flagship policies are in crises due to lack of funds and poor management of the country’s economy.

He said that the breaking the eight (8) anthem being sung by some NPP executives and supporters demonstrates the insensitive nature of their party despite the plea of Ghanaians in the wake of the hardship in the country stating that the current economic crisis in the country is a failure on the part of government.
