Audio: NDC Will Continue Akufo-Addo’s Green Ghana Project When Voted Into Power – Former Atwima Mponua DCE

The Former District Chief Executive of the Atwima Mponua district in the Ashanti Region, Hon. Stephen Yeboah has assured that, the National Democratic Congress supports ‘Green Ghana’ project and will continue its implementation when voted into power.

 

According to him, the initiative rolled out by the Akuffo Addo government is a good one for the country and deserves utmost support of the opposition.

He advised that, any government voted into power should continue to ensure that the lands on which these trees are grown will be protected so that it will not be encroached like that of the Achimota forest.

He continued that, laws should be effectively implemented so that, the nation will continue to plant trees and also replace ones cut for developing structures.

 

He stressed that, this will preserve the environment to be passed onto the next generation.
