Ghana Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has admitted that he made a mistake in his starting line up against Brazil in the international friendly on Friday evening, 23rd September 2022.
The Black Stars were trounced 3-0 by start-studded Brazil in a Pre-World Cup friendly at the Stade de Oceane in Le Havre, France.
A first half brace from Richarlison and Marquinhos’ header on the 9th minute secured the Samba Boys a comfortable win over the West African nation.
According to Addo, he made a mistake with the tactical approach of the fixture with the team’s selection.
“My selection was not a gamble. It was a decision of complex things. Line up was good but we had to work harder to close the spaces.
“I think I made mistakes, I learnt a lot more about my players, and picking the next eleven (11) will depend on the performance in the next game” Addo told reporters after the game.

Ghana is currently preparing for the 2022 FIFA World Cup which will be staged in Qatar from November to December.
The four-time Africa Cup of Nations have been housed in Group H alongside Portugal South Korea and Uruguay.
Ghana will face Nicaragua in another international friendly on Tuesday, 27th September, 2022 in Spain.
