The Anou Stool family in the Ashanti Region has reaffirmed its unwavering support for Baffour Osei Kuffour, confirming him as the only recognized Chief of Anou Stool and Krotihene of Offinso Traditional Council.
This declaration comes in direct response to baseless rumors circulating about his alleged destoolment by the Offinso Traditional Council amid a chieftaincy dispute.
At a press conference held at the Anou Palace, Nana Frimpomaa Nyarko, the Queen Mother of Anou Stool, expressed her shock and disappointment upon learning about the false reports of Baffour Osei Kuffour’s destoolment in some media outlets.
She categorically denied these claims, urging the public to disregard the misinformation.
The Queen Mother emphasized that the Offinso Traditional Council has not destooled Baffour Osei Kuffour, citing a lack of substantial negative charges against him.
Family members present at the press conference challenged those spreading false information to provide concrete evidence supporting their claims of destoolment or any charges against Baffour Osei Kuffour.

They reiterated that Nana Baffour Osei Kuffour is the only globally and traditionally recognized Chief of Anou Stool.
The family also issued a stern warning to those behind this misinformation, cautioning them to cease their actions or face legal consequences.
During a press conference at the Anou Palace, the family presented a document of Baffour Osei Kuffour’s gazette as evidence of his legitimacy as the Chief of Anou Stool. This official document serves as proof of his recognition and validation by the relevant authorities.
According to the family, by addressing the rumors directly and challenging those responsible, they aim to maintain peace and clarity within the community.
They believes that prompt action is necessary to prevent the spread of misinformation, which could potentially destabilize the community.
By setting the record straight, the family hopes to reassure the community of Baffour Osei Kuffour’s legitimacy and continued leadership.
